The cycling programme will entail groups of participants being led on a bike ride by friendly Sports Key staff and volunteers. Routes will be selected by our cycle instructors and may vary week to week, but rest assured all routes will be safe, secure and appropriate for our audience. There will be a mixture of road, cycle corridors (blue cycle lanes) and off-road cycling.
Equipment: Participants must bring their own bike to each cycling session. For health and safety reasons Sports Key encourage that all participating cyclists bring and wear their own helmet. If you choose not to wear a helmet Sports Key will not be liable for any injuries sustained as a result of its non-use. Sports Key can provide some bike repair maintenance kits and high visibility vests but please be aware availability will be limited. Sports Key also offer a Bike Bursary scheme for anyone who does not own or have access to a bike. The scheme provides a one off £100 contribution for those that meet the eligibility criteria. Please email Enquries@Sportskey.info for further information about the Bike Bursary scheme.
