Sports Key Games 2024 returned to its native venue Doug Ellis Sports Centre, for another action-packed showcase of sport, community spirit, and local talent! The event brought together players, families, and spectators from across Birmingham and beyond for a vibrant day filled with tournaments, live performances, family entertainment, food, and prizes.

This year featured thrilling competitions across Football, Netball, and Badminton, with teams and players giving their all for the highly anticipated event to earn their cash prizes and bragging rights!

The day kicked off with a high-energy Opening Ceremony led by the talented Bring It To CIC, setting the tone for a day of excitement, vibes and community spirit.

The Children’s Entertainment Zone kept children busy all day with bouncy castles, games, and fun attractions, while Twinzane Fitness, Neo Sports, and Skate Buddies hosted engaging taster sessions that got everyone moving and trying something new!

Food lovers enjoyed delicious Caribbean and street-style dishes courtesy of Danes Catering and Chuffalo, keeping everyone fuelled throughout the day.

Inclusive Sports Showcase

A special highlight of the 2024 Games was the Wheelchair Basketball exhibition, delivered by **Make Change Inclusive Sports and Breakin Barriers**. The session drew huge applause from the crowd, embodying Sports Key’s mission to promote inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in sport for all.
